Croad Vineyard Surprise Proposal

Are you looking for the perfect proposal location? Look no further than Proposal Corner at Croad Vineyard in Paso Robles, California. This location is stunning in the heart of Paso's most beautiful vineyards, with an incredible backdrop and rolling hills.

Alex found me through The Knot, and we immediately booked and started chatting a few days later. He was planning a weekend away to surprise his girlfriend, Margareta. The first question I asked was, "did she get her nails done?" His response was priceless, as he told me that he had been bribing her friend to go with her weekly since August!

The plan was set, and the staff at Croad Vineyard held off the section known as "Proposal Corner." My husband joined me so that we could blend in, and we sat up above, pretending to join the view.

Alex stood up and invited Margareta to enjoy the view but not before winking at me. We had never met in person but exchanged photos to know who to look for.

I don't know Alex's exact words, but the emotion was there. Margareta could barely look at the incredible ring Alex had designed for her as her eyes filled with tears. Shortly after, we spent a few minutes taking photos and gave Margareta and Alex time to soak at the moment. The owner of Croad Vineyard congratulated them, and the staff was delighted to participate in the day.

Check out these 4 Great Surprise Wedding Proposal Tips

  1. Hire a photographer (Hi, there!) Typically photographers will help plan most of the details for you. We usually do not mind hiding in the bushes or plan a couples photoshoot like this one here.

  2. Most jewelers are now offering a ring box that is easy to conceal. If not, buy one here. (Not Sponsored)

  3. Make sure they get their nails done. Enlist their best friend for this one!

  4. Worried about keeping it a surprise? Keep all planning by phone call!
