Amber and Armando's Engagement Session
I met Amber and Armando at the beginning of my photography business and captured the two for their Cal Poly Graduation Portraits. The two met in at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and have been inseparable since.
Armando was preparing to propose to Amber this last fall when their Alexa announced "Will you Marry Me?" Banner to be delivered today!" from an Amazon order Armando had placed. Trying to throw her off he delayed the proposal as long as possible.
It was great to catch up with these two and reminisce on how fast the last few years have gone, now as the two are settled into their careers and wedding planning for their 2024 wedding.
Montana De Oro State Park Photoshoot Location
When I asked Amber what kind of backdrop she wanted she expressed she wanted a lot of trees. Montana de Oro is a beautiful backdrop for various types of photography like couples and families. From the Eucalyptus trees to the bluff, you are able to really diversify your portraits in a single location.
For the adventure seekers out there, drive out the the PG&E Check Point and sign in to explore the bluff beyond Montana de Oro State Park. About a 1-2 mile leisure walk you will find a thick patch of California poppies that overlook the California Coastline. Pack a lunch and eat at Spooners Cove after!
